Jaydess – an intrauterine device (IUD)
A state-of-the-art, hormone releasing intrauterine device is placed in the intrauterine cavity by a gynaecologist, combining the effect of standard IUD with the efficacy of hormonal contraception.
Its birth control efficacy amounts to 100% (Pearl Index of 0.09-0.33 ).
A smaller hormonal system with less hormonal volume is now also available – also for nulliparas.
